Tell me about it sister....

I got an e-mail from Lisa TutB (my new nickname for her - I like it, it is like Hoda Kotb on NBC), anyway, I was just going to post her e-mail, but I didn't want to offend anyone. Then I thought I would just X-out all the real bad stuff, but that would only leave about 14 words out of 150. I am sure you can imagine the content and tone of her note! With all the hoopla about MJ going on, I (along with Lisa TutB's encouragement) thought it would be nice to remember others who past away the week of June 20-27 whose memories have all but been pushed aside so the world could morn "the gloved one."

Beautiful Farrah - Lisa TutB "...who worked tirelessly to encourage cancer treatments and looked for new ones until the day she died....
...Ed Mcmahon, a decorated WWII hero.....
...or Karl Malden also a decorated war hero."

It really is a shame that these people did not get the recognition they deserved. But, that is what our world is coming to. Kind of depressing.
You were right Lisa TutB, not very inspiring!
Love
PS: Wonder how long it will take before someone claims to have seen "the mighty MoonWalker" at a KFC? Shouldn't be long now.

THEY'RE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about getting inspiration! The great, wonderful, fantastic, yummy PICKLE_O's are back at Sonic. At least the Sonic on Danville Road in Decatur. Hell no, I won't mind crossing the track for these yummy things! I just love them.

MMMM...I think I have died and gone to heaven!

NEEDING INSPIRIATION

I have not really felt any creative juices when it comes to my blog lately...I guess it just runs in spurts. It is not that I am not trying, just nothing really exciting or funny has happened to me lately. So, for today, I thought I would share a picture of two of my favorite things in the whole wide world...my couch and my blue bankie...just kidding. Of course it is my Boo and my Bikie. Love, love, love.

USELESS INFO TUESDAY

~ "Happy as a clam" is from the expression "happy as a clam at high tide." Clams are only harvested when the tide is out.

~ The hula hoop was the top-selling toy in 1957.

~ There are more doughnut shops per capita in Canada than in any other country.

~ There are about 5000 different languages spoken on Earth.

MY BUTT IS SORE....

...that ought to get some attentions. We worked HARD in the garden last night. Really for about 2.5 hours! My legs and butt are sore, that is how out of shape I am. Butt sore from sitting on a hard stool, legs just from bending. But, the bounty was wonderful....lots of cucumbers, squash, okra, tomatoes, and even the first CORN! Yea!

Hey You Lost Fans....

My friend Lisa is back from camp War Eagle. Yea! Her son will be attending this fall. While there, in the library, they had a display of all the famous actors born in Alabama. And we did not know this, even though we are HUGE Lost fans, but the actress that plays Cassidy was born and grew up in Huntsville!
Here name is Kim Dickens, born June 18th, 1965. If you watch Lost, you will remember that Cassidy was the woman that had Sawyer's child after he conned her. She also has helped Kate out a couple of times, and they have had several run-ins with each other.

Makes me love the show that much more!
