...well, not everyone, just anybody coming over the bridge around 5:45 tonight. And, really, I don't owe you an apology...the ambulance driver that ran into the back of my Malibu does! Yes, I was sitting at the red light about 4 cars back from the light (talking on the phone to TCW - but no one needs to know that). The ambulance driver said he thought he saw me going and just plowed into the back of me. It jarred me so hard, I thought someone had plowed into the back of him and I had plowed into the back of the car in front of me. But apparently I didn't touch the car in front, because they just pulled off when the light changed.
He got out and apologized over and over. I actually felt sorry for him. I really felt sorry for his transport patient. After the popo got there we moved over into the Holiday Inn parking lot. My statement was to the point - "I was stopped at the red light after crossing the Tennessee River bridge, and an ambulance ran into the back of me."
The EMT supervisor who arrived soon after told Scott that another ambulance was coming to get his transport " 'cause we got to take a little trip to the hospital." Poor fellow, I guess he was going to have to pee in a cup.
My car is fine, just need a new bumper...but I want one of those fancy bumpers! You know, the one that comes with 4 new tires!
Just kidding.

Meet Lewey!
Just took this picture of my new office mate! He belongs to the President at my new work. He just roams around the building all day going in and out of everyone's office. I just gave him some left over turkey from my sandwich. He loves me!

THE GREAT FRY RYE FIASCO OF 2012
Tears were shed at 1719 last night. I had bought a bunch of groceries, and Josh and I were cleaning out the fridge to make room. Rachel had gotten Chinese food Sunday night...and yes, we did the unthinkable! WE THREW AWAY HER FRIED RICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, many of you know what a picky eater Rachel is. Heck, if I had to bet money on it, I would say the chances of her eating left overs would be 99 to 1. And she didn't even like fried rice a year ago!
She was a little sensitive last night, so what do we do? We go on the defensive.
R: You could have at least asked!
LL: Well, you could have come to help with the groceries when I called you!
R: You knew I was back there on the computer.
LL: How could I know, you didn't come when I called you.
R: I was totally going to eat that tonight.
LL: I have never even seen you eat leftovers.
R: I was looking so forward to it!
LL: Get over it.
Lesson of the night: DO NOT TOUCH Rachel's fry rye! You might loose your hand.
