USELESS INFO TUESDAY

~ The original name for Yahtzee was the Yacht Game. It was invented by a Canadian couple who played it with guests aboard their yacht.
~ Reese's Peanut Butter Cups was developed by Harry Burnett Reese. He had worked as a dairyman for the Hershey Chocolate Company who purchased Reese's company for 23.5 million in 1963.


~ Minerva, the Roman goddess of wisdom on California's state seal, represents the fact that California achieved statehood without going through a territorial period, just as Minerva sprang to life full-grown.


~ It is the year 5771 on the Jewish calendar.
